In accordance with the announcement of the Ministry of Education of Thailand on the 27th of January, 2021, we are pleased to announce that our onsite classes will resume from the 1st of February. Courses that were scheduled online remain online.
In accordance with the announcements of the Governorate of Bangkok and the Ministry of Education of Thailand of the 2nd of January, regarding the measures taken to restrain the diffusion process of the COVID-19, Alliance Française Bangkok will reduce most of its activities from the 4th of January as follows :

On Thursday, December 3rd, we welcomed 8 students of Patumwan Demonstration School for their Visit to the media library.
The ‘Book cover design’ workshop organised in partnership with Witti Studio, brought together during two consecutive Sundays, drawing experts and creative minds for two friendly afternoons.

Last Saturday, November 7, we hosted the “Salon de Thé avec France Alumni”, an event organised by our institutional partners Campus France Thailand, France Alumni and the French Embassy in Bangkok.
As part of Bangkok Art Biennale 2020, Alliance Française Bangkok had the pleasure to co-host the event ‘Asia the Unmiraculous’, a lecture performance by Ho Rui An, a Singaporean artist and writer working in the intersections of contemporary art, cinema and performance.

Since October 2019, on the initiative of Luc Delaplace, one of our Board members, Alliance Française Bangkok has been offering free classes to the children living in an underprivileged area on the edge of the soi Polo.

From July 6, the return of the long-awaited onsite classes is back. For this new session, you will finally be able to meet your classmates and teachers in person.
To ensure a reopening in the best sanitary conditions, for your own safety and the safety of the other visitors, we have taken several measures.
We have cleaned and disinfected the entire building, including the air conditioners with a special anti-COVID-19 product.
We are pleased to announce that Alliance Française Bangkok will be partially reopening to the public on Monday, June 1, 2020.
However, for your own safety and the safety of other visitors and to prevent the spread of the COVID-19, you are requested to follow specific requirements.

In compliance with the measures announced by the Thai government concerning the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Alliance Française Bangkok must adjust its services to the public starting from Wednesday, March 18, 2020 and until further notice.

When you come to the Alliance for your courses, for cultural events or on other occasions, please use the main doors, so that we can check your temperature at the entrance of the building.
Alliance Française Bangkok remains very vigilant towards the development of the situation regarding the Covid-19 (Coronavirus). Alcohol-based hand sanitizers are available on the different floors, in the classrooms, in the Media library, at the reception desk and in front of the auditorium. Moreover, our cleaning teams use specific disinfecting products and have been instructed to regularly clean the door handles, the toilets and the children areas.

On October 18, 2019, Alliance Française Bangkok organised a Gala dinner to celebrate the first anniversary of the official inauguration of its new building by the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The other aim of this event was to collect funds to purchase Attraction II, a sculpture by French artist Val who passed away 3 years ago, located in front of Alliance’s new building. (more…)
