On Thursday 26 September,TV5MONDE will offer you a spectacular live world tour to discover the Francophonie: “Sur la piste de la Francophonie (On the trail of the Francophonie)“. 20 hours of live broadcast, 18 destinations, 5 continents!

Alliance Française Bangkok will have the honour of being one of the stops on the journey, starting at 11am (local time), 5am (U.T.).

Francophonie month: get ready for a rich cultural program in March at Alliance Française!

In March, we’ll celebrate the Francophonie month in Thailand. We reserve you a rich and varied cultural program prepared in collaboration with the Embassies members of the Francophonie (Belgium, Canada, France, Morocco, Romania, Switzerland) in Thailand. One exhibition, two concerts, one celebration day, one conference, no less than four special cinema screenings and many more surprises are waiting for you all along the month.

Invented by Guillaume Apollinaire in 1918, a calligram is a poem whose verses are arranged to form a drawing related to the poem.

Alliance Française at ATPF 2017

Alliance Française Bangkok had the pleasure to participate in the 38th Annual Feast of the ATPF (Association Thaïlandaise des Professeurs de Français) under the theme “En avant, le français avec l’ATPF ! Célébrons ensemble nos 40 ans !” at Assumption school, Bangkok, on December 3rd 2017.

On the occasion of the 160th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries, Her Royal Highness, Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana opened an international conference at INALCO on March 1st by a speech in French.

European Languages Café 2016

September, 26th was the annual European Languages Café at the Portuguese Embassy, on the Chao Praya River.

For the record, this event took place for the first time in 2012, thanks to the European Union Delegation initiative, in order to celebrate the European day of Languages. (more…)

International Book Fair 2015

IMG_0881France was the special guest of this seventh International Book Fair in Bangkok, from March 26 to April 6. Inaugurated by H.H the Princess Sirindhorn, this event was a success since we hosted over one million and a half people and generated a turnover of 13 millions EUR.

European Languages Café 2015

Cafe europeen des langues1On March 26th, Alliance Française Bangkok was present for the European Languages Café 2016, organised by European Union Delegation, at Black Box cafe.This annual event is a meeting between young Thai and young representatives of European Union.

This year, Eva and Charles stood for Alliance Française and the tricolour flag!




La fête de la Francophonie 2015

Alliance Française Bangkok has hosted about 4,000 people for the Francophonie festival 2015 in Thailand!

Throughout the day, activities were offered around French language and environment, but also a petanque competition, a concert, video screenings, lectures including one hosted by the famous Thai actor “Tik”.

The chosen theme for this edition under the title “Save the planet” echoes the conference on climate change “COP21” that France has hosted in December 2015.
