From February 10th to March 1st 2018, Alliance Française Bangkok hosts Bruno Tanquerel exhibition.
Using painting and sculpture for his exhibition Family Portraits, the French artist focuses on different rituals that punctuacte life and form the basis of our belonging to a group: wedding, communion, family dinners.
The paintings are inspired by old photographs taken in France, the images are transformed, distorded by unsaturated color.
In parallel, some portraits of Asia: the sculpture part of the exhibition combines bronze heads with neon lights in an intriguing dialogue of lights and shadows…
