SALE AND REGISTRATION OFFICER

Location: Alliance Française de Bangkok, 179 Witthayu Road, Lumphini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330 

Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Depending on events, the working days and hours of the Sale and Registration Officer may be adjusted.

The Registration Department is the first point of contact for the public at the Alliance Française. The team's role is to welcome, advise and register customers for language and arts courses (adults and young public), exams, vacation camps and language stays. This mission requires sales skills and a sense of customer service.

Job description:

Reporting to the Deputy Director, the Head of Registration Department and her Assistant, the Sale and Registration Officer is responsible for the following tasks:

  • Sales of language courses (French and Thai) to all publics, and particularly to companies.
  • Customer care for language and arts courses (group and individual classes), exams, companies, vacation camps and language stays (welcome, information, orientation and customers registration in person, by email, social networks, or telephones).
  • Administrative follow-up of course registrations in the AEC software (updating customer files, modifying schedules, tracking payments, etc.). Training will be provided on arrival. 
  • Help with preparations for the start of the session and teaching activities (creating follow-up documents, relaying information to the teaching team, ordering materials, etc.). 
  • Help with exams preparation: set up training courses in conjunction with the teaching department.
  • In liaison with the Pedagogical Project Manager, participation in the development of courses for companies (prospect research, making appointments, preparing quotations, setting up the course, following up the course with students and the company contact person, and renewing course packages).
  • Daily monitoring of communication channels (Email, Facebook, Messenger, LINE...)
  • Participation in development projects and promotional events of the Alliance (website optimization and customer journey, open house days, school visits, promotional events, etc.).
  • Any other missions contributing to the smooth operation of the Registration Department and the objectives of the Alliance Française de Bangkok. 

Required profile : 

  • The candidate must be a native Thai speaker and have a good level of French (B1) and English (B2). 
  • He/She must be proficient in Word, Excel and database softwares.  
  • He/She must graduate and ideally have at least one year's experience in sales and customer relations. 
  • A dynamic and versatile temperament, good interpersonal skills and a sense of customer service are required.
