Look back on the Francophonie month in Thailand 2021

The Francophonie month in Thailand 2021 ends with a classical music concert by the Pro Musica ensemble, organized by the French Embassy in partnership with the Alliance Française de Bangkok on March 31, 2021.  

This is an opportunity for us to look back on this month that has honored a large number of French-speaking countries around the values of the Francophonie such as dialogue and respect for cultural diversity, international cooperation around the French language and the promotion of education.

This year, France, which succeeds Luxembourg as coordinating country, as well as the member, associate or observer countries of the International Organization of the Francophonie (the embassies and delegations of Belgium, Canada, Kosovo, Luxembourg, Poland, Romania and Switzerland), in partnership with the Alliance Française and the Thai Association of Teachers of French, offered the Thai public a very rich program, combining concerts, exhibitions, conferences, cinema, fashion show as well as numerous educational activities. 24 events in total!

On February 25, 2021, the Francophonie month 2021 in Thailand was launched at Alliance Française Bangkok, in the presence of the French ambassador to Thailand, Mr Thierry Mathou, the French diplomatic corps and the ATPF (Thai Association of Teachers of French).

Digital Showroom and Fashion Show | France

The art activities department of Alliance Francaise Bangkok organized a fashion show during which were exhibited the creations of our fashion students, a collection of accessories from different French brands in collaboration with Business France, and master pieces from the Thai brand Tube Gallery.
